Merola Tile Hex 6 in. x 7 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile (2.97 sq. ft./Case)
Product Description
Featuring a sleek black and white monochromatic design, our Palm Rombo Hex Black 6 in. x 7 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile radiates mid-century modern design. This hexagon shaped tile creates captivating 3D visual effects through linear rhombus patterns that extend across the surface. Bright white lines are set amongst a charcoal black backdrop that has subtle variations that are meant to replicate genuine hydraulic tiles. This dynamic display of geometric pattern is visually appealing and versatile, and can redefine spaces through a graphic aesthetic. To add further contrast and dimension to the design, this matte floor and wall tile features slight surface undulation and subtle edge irregularities, offering an organic handcrafted appearance. Its ADA-compliant, impervious, frost-resistant and durable features make this an ideal choice for both commercial and residential indoor and outdoor installations. Tiles in our Palm Collection are bicoturra or double-fired, which ensures each tile is precisely calibrated to allow for installation consistency and the use of tighter grout joints. The second firing of the tile creates a stunning rich glazing effect that cannot be achieved with a single fire process. These tiles are also mono-color, meaning the colors remain consistent between production runs. Tile is the better choice for your space. This tile is made from natural ingredients, making it a healthy choice as it is free from allergens, VOCs, formaldehyde and PVC.

Palm Style
Classic with a modern twist is how I would classify this tile. It’s so interesting, depending on the way you lay this tile you can achieve a more uniform consistent look or a wild random shape making combination. This tile pairs really nicely with others in this series like the White windmill design or the solid colors. I can’t say great enough things about this tile design and quality. I have been waiting for hexagon tile to be available for a while as it’s been popping up all over interior design resources and homes I really gravitate towards.
Windmill Style
This tile is inspiring my creative side to resurface a coffee table and end table set. I gathered a few different colors and designs of this tile to collage in a beautiful contrasting yet harmonic design. I am impressed by the quality of this tile as well as the packaging it came in, every detail was considered. The tiles package up and down instead of flat, they have smooth edges and seem really easy to work with. I have set out the tile and brainstormed multiple arrangements and it’s all so fantastic because of the design of this tile you can’t go wrong.

I can think of so many applications for this tile. It would work great in a bathroom in the floor of a beautiful walk-in shower, or on a tiled accent wall. I would also love to have the hexagon tile in my kitchen. There are many designs that incorporate hexagon to the wood flooring while master crafting cut outs and I’m excited to see this tile available finally at my local Home Depot. I’m also very excited of the variety of designs for customizing the space and increasing the range of applications.

There is something satisfying with how well hexagons nest together visually and functionally. Hexigons in design have become increasingly more popular. The interest the shape has over regular square or subway tile can really add an element of sophistication to a space. What’s even better is the beauty of the finish of these Merola hexigon porcelain tiles. It’s smooth and cool to the touch and the craftsmanship is flawless. The color is such a soft bold flavor and is really lovely to look at.
